Part-Time Administrative Assistant - New Haven, CT (20 Hours/Week)

Location: New Haven, CT

Schedule: Part-time (approx. 20 hours per week) until ~June for now

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our daily operational and administrative functions. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with Workday is essential, as a significant portion of responsibilities are completed within this platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily administrative tasks within Workday, including processing requests related to ordering goods and services
  • Receive, review, and process purchase requests and related documentation
  • Work in Excel to maintain, organize, and update invoice tracking and financial information
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports
  • Use Outlook extensively for scheduling, correspondence, and workflow management
  • Support general administrative functions as needed to ensure smooth office operations

Qualifications

  • Workday experience is required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior administrative experience preferred

Hours & Compensation

  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • $28 per hour
